What to do at Easter on Lake Garda

The warm season is coming and Lake Garda is ready to offer tourists a rich programme of initiatives for the Easter weekend .

Choosing a holiday (even a short one) on Lake Garda is the best way to take advantage of Garda Escursioni’s offers, which has always offered a long series of experiences on the lake at affordable prices for everyone.

From the 08th to the 10th of April book one of the countless proposals on our website. A long list of services and attractions on Lake Garda for Easter holidays and beyond.

Easter holidays on Lake Garda could become an opportunity to spend a few days under the sign of fun, comfort and relaxation. ‘Seeing the lake from the lake’, as they say in these parts, is something unique. In fact, with the arrival of spring, you can explore the lake by booking a boat tour to discover the enchanting landscapes on the shores of Lake Garda. The splendid views of the hills and mountains, the inlets where the most picturesque towns are located.

Choose, for example, the Lake Garda boat tour

The tour begins by sailing along the western shore of Lake Garda. From the boat you can admire the characteristic and historical places such as Gargnano (Villa Feltrinelli, Mussolini’s living room), Garda Island and Sirmione.

Disembarkation in Sirmione is scheduled for 11:30 a.m., then there are 2 hours of free time to visit one of the most characteristic villages on the lake.

At 1:30 p.m. we depart from Sirmione, passing by the Scaliger Castle and the Grottoes of Catullus, heading towards the eastern shore of Lake Garda, before arriving at Bardolino, where disembarkation is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. with a break of about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

At 3:45 p.m. you will leave Bardolino, passing through Garda, Punta San Vigilio, Torri and Malcesine.

Thanks to this boat tour of Lake Garda you can get to know the morainic hills of the lake, take long walks in the historic centres, rent bicycles or enjoy a few hours of relaxation by the lake.

But that’s not all. Spending a day on Lake Garda means having the chance to get to know the characteristic restaurants and holiday farms that colour and perfume the beautiful villages. It’s an opportunity to appreciate the local cuisine, characterised by a variety of recipes, both from the lake and from the land.

Lake Garda is also rich in history and things to see and visit

From April, the season on Lake Garda reopens and you can book a visit to one of the most famous locations on Italy’s largest lake.

The guided tour lasts about a couple of hours with a route that will take visitors through unspoilt vegetation, English and Italian gardens and some rooms of the elegant and suggestive early 20th century villa in Venetian neo-Gothic style.  The guided tour can be booked in Italian, English, German, French or Spanish.
